-Automatic select 'to me' in the 'my tasks' view on mobile.

-automatic move unfinished tasks to tomorrow.

Create pre-created list of tasks (like a template of tasks), create task, would love to see formulas, when x date arrives OR x number of days has passed > check other field like check the last payment date field > update status based on this (use case - tracking payments via a zap from stripe or quickbooks)

I use common section names for many of my boards/lists. If I set a task to exist on multiple boards, it would be good if it synchronises the section it's in across all the boards.
Or put another way:
When I have a task that is on multiple boards, if I move it to a section on one board, it will be automatically moved to the section of the same name on the other boards.

Here are the most common ones my job uses on Monday.com Pt. 1
Task/Item Creation Automations:
- When a status changes to something, create an item in another board
Automatically creates a new item in a different board when the status changes (e.g., "Done" creates a new task on a follow-up board).
2.When a date arrives, create an item
Generates a new item when a specific date is reached (perfect for recurring tasks or deadlines).
Status Updates Automations:
1.When a status changes, notify someone
Sends an email, in-app notification, or Slack message to someone when a status changes (e.g., "Needs Approval").
2.When a status changes to X, change another status to Y
Updates multiple statuses simultaneously based on one trigger (e.g., "In Progress" changes another field to "Waiting").
3.When a status changes to X, move the item to another group
Moves an item to a different group when its status is updated (e.g., "Completed" moves the item to the "Done" group).
Date-Based Automations:
1.When a date arrives, change the status to X
Automatically changes the status of an item when the assigned date has passed or arrived.
2.When a date has passed, notify someone
Alerts team members when a task is overdue or a deadline has been missed.
3.Recurring automation: Every X days, create an item or update a status
Useful for repetitive tasks that need attention at regular intervals.

part 2.
Assignment Automations:
1.When an item is created, assign it to someone
Automatically assigns new tasks/items to specific team members based on predefined rules.
2.When a status changes to something, assign someone
Reassigns ownership of tasks based on status updates (e.g., "Needs Review" assigns it to the manager).
Dependency Automations:
1.When a status changes, change the same status in dependent items
Ensures all linked items update their statuses together (great for project dependencies).
1.When all subitems are marked as done, change parent item status
Updates the parent item's status when all subitems are completed.
Group & Board Management Automations:
1.When an item is moved to a group, change the status to X
Updates the item's status automatically based on the group it’s moved into.
- When a status changes, move item to a group
Updates the item's group automatically based on the item's new status.
- When all items in a group are done, notify someone or archive the group
Tracks group progress and triggers actions once everything is complete.
When an item is created in this board, mirror/update it in another board
Mirrors updates or creates linked items across multiple boards.
Custom Notifications Automations:
1.Every time period (e.g., weekly), notify someone about items in a specific group
Sends summary notifications about pending or completed items in groups.
2.When an item's priority is changed, notify someone
Alerts relevant stakeholders when priorities shift.
Time Tracking Automations:
1.Start time tracking when status changes to X
Automatically begins tracking time for tasks that move into specific stages like "In Progress."
2.Stop time tracking when status changes to Y
Ends time tracking when tasks are marked as "Done."

I also vote for n8n integration. Also, an integration with Salesflare would be amazing. They are a company that have build a CRM app following the same principals as Upbase - great UI and an "All in One" solution that most organizations can utilize. I can get you connected with the team at Salesflare if this interests you.

Tony Pham Goal Setting automation for follow through and accountability. Template for annual goals, automation of quarterly “step” goals, cascading into automation of monthly or weekly “actions”. Triggers back to progress of annual goals, etc.

We're working on adding Automations to Upbase. Have a workflow in mind? Share the triggers and actions you'd like to see in this thread
Tony Pham
We expect to release the first version next month. The automation feature will include two parts:
- Rules that run automatically based on triggers.
- Custom Buttons added to every task in a list, allowing you to perform multiple actions with a single click, much like the automation buttons in Trello.

Tony Pham when trigger "due date changed" and "section is ..." > action "move item to section"

Tony Pham Here are a few triggers and actions that would be quite useful for my workflow:
IF the first time tracking entry is started on a task, THEN move the task to section named X.
(This saves me time so I don’t have to manually move the task to a “Started” section — and more importantly, I don’t have to remember to do it.)
IF a task is marked as completed, THEN move the task to section named X.
(This saves me time so I don’t have to manually move the task to a “Completed” section — and more importantly, I don’t have to remember to do it.)
IF a task is created on a specific list, THEN add Tag X.
IF a task is marked as completed, THEN add Tag X.
IF a task is marked as completed, THEN remove Tag X.
IF a task is marked as completed, THEN clear all tags.
(Those would be really powerfull and help make greater use of the already implemented tag system.)
It would be great if it were possible to set up both global rules and rules specific to a list or a number of selected lists.

Thomas Agree to pretty much all of this!
My use case is slightly different, as we don't use the system's "complete" functionality. It's confusing for our clients when completed tasks get hidden. We use a tag for status, which means that "overdue" tasks are common...I'd like to be able to set so that IF as task is tagged with X, clear due date.

Tony Pham Here is my thoughts for now.
- Task moved to section, create new list in certain folder, with extra possible actions such as adding a tag.
- Task complete/moved, create new task using a template then assign with due date of X days from date of creation.
- Subtask complete, create new task in certain section or list, with possibility of this new task using a task template.
- Task moved/complete, create new list from list template with pre-defined dates and assignees.
- Blue has some good automations, as does Taskaid.
Extra awesome would be: For a trigger to action an email being sent. Connect gmailGmail account and emails to be sent (templates predefined). Eg. Pipeline journey of task moved to section,Gmail send email 'onboarding' from template, gmail.
Blue does this with some options of predefining emails for each project/list or keeps a library.

Could we please add some automation for overdue tasks ? Something like adding a few more days or sending notifications to different set of people ?
