🔗 Backlinks Menu lets you build your own 🧠Second Brain in a few clicks!
Create a network of interconnected Tasks, Notes, Daily thoughts, and Projects.
How works:
1) Type @ + project title to link projects together. You can also "Copy Link" for a task or project in the đź“ť Share Menu and paste the hyperlink manually.
2) Click the "Backlinks" button at the top of the project you're editing. Upbase will show you all @mentions (backlinks) leading to the project.
3) Finally, select an existing backlink to quickly jump to the connected task and project.

Seems like this has already been rolled out. You can add related tasks, docs, links, messages etc.. and see those related items clearly in both places.
Just press "R" on keyboard when viewing a task, doc etc or look for the ••• in the top right of a task , and click "Mark as related to". Then a search modal opens and you can select a task, doc, message etc that the task is related to.
Once you establish the relationship, you'll see it show up as "Related" on BOTH this item, and the other item you connected, for fluid jumping back and forth. It shows up in hidden little ••• menus, so if you can't find it just press "R" on any screen and look where the popup opens.
This actually works quite well to interconnect things in upbase, e.g. if you had one project that's a contact list, and another that is a companies list, for a lightweight crm. Or of course, linking related docs to a task or related tasks together.

Great suggestion! I just deleted my own feature request, when I saw this one.
I used Roam and I am now using Logseq to build my own second brain.
Please make sure txt-files can be exported and imported - this will make it compatible with Roam and Logseq to transition from there.

Thank you for your great suggestions. When we release the Search function, we will consider adding the ability to @mention ANYTHING in Tasks, Messages, Docs, Files, Chat, and Daily Notes.
