📧Email in Upbase
Jack S.
Full email support in Upbase.
So that you do not have to use an 📨Email program.
-
Send and receive emails directly from Upbase Tasks.
The ability to send an e-mail, just like a comment.
Sending e-mails and replies at the task level.
The system recognizes where the message comes from and when a reply comes, it is attached to the given Task (thread).
-
Two-way email support is crucial.
Email is a time-wasting component.
So that you can focus on tasks, projects and not leaving Upbase to email.
-
Service for mail:
IMAP / SMTP
Gmail
Office 365
.
So that you can natively 📥receive /📤send emails in Upbase
.
In this way, you can completely dispense with handling the email box in a separate program.

◾Notion Mail

Yes we use email in Clickup currently:
- task: recurring reminder email for certain activities/tasks gets autosent (ie use clickup automations)
- task such as tax filing, have drafted email (with link to google drive folder) in task and simply require us to insert a variable such as confirmation number and can send from task and mark complete, no need to go to other email
- we also use clickup gmail integration to turn emails from outside parties to tasks in specific folders
- we heavily rely on this

Fully agree, Great Idea!!!
The upbase developers are already working on integrating Calendar, so why not consider replacing email functionality too?
With upbase, you wouldn't need to rely on anything else. You can have your calendar, files, to-do lists, and email all conveniently accessible in one place.
I visualized what the concept might look like.

Yas please! Would be amazing if it was even possible to have a regular inbox within Upbase. 😍

A lot of tasks, communication in a small company, or solo preneur goes through e-mail. It would be nice to somehow integrate email with Upbase.

Tickets are tasks that have been qualified for further processing.
Maybe I don't even mean all the e-mail correspondence.
I'm more concentred when Task comes up.
For further comment exchange to take place via Upbase/e-mail.
Something like, for example, Clickup, that you can send and even receive mail that will be detected as related to the task.
You can comment on a task by sending an e-mail to the user associated with it.
It's like HelpScout that you can reply directly through him via LiveChat, but also RE: to the notification that comes by e-mail.
