I have 6 work areas and often tasks overlap with one to another. It would be great to have a central dashboard for tasks.
Therefore, you can then move the task in one business unit out and into another business unit or get a snapshot of what is on the go across the different areas.
Even if you have one workplace that simply shows a tag of the workspace on a kanban board or something - i can get a more holistic snapshot of wtf is going on rather than hopping in and out of work spaces to check.

I added my own Dashboard request before I saw this one. There are a few I think could / should be combined to gauge support. Alas, I see this has been a request for over 2 years now. And it doesn't seem to be on the current roadmap. Disappointing.
Here's my request: https://upbase.canny.io/feature-requests/p/dashboards

Also for clients — a way to share a "dashboard" or report screen with clients to keep them updated with low effort.

Jack S. Clickup's Dashboard feature is really sweet -- too bad the rest of the app is so bloated / confusing. Not hating, I just prefer the simplicity of Upbase.

There may be some overlap between this request and this:

I think for start we can have something simple like this. If you collect mainly existing data the implementation should be quite simple. Editable widgets would be nice.

Jan yes, this would be ideal.

Jan I would recommend one for each Project (or List) page as well as a universal Dashboard to go right under the Workspace & above (or below) the Schedule

This is such an important thing for a project management tool. Having just to-do and done board doesn't make much sense.
There should be a dashboard to track project status, completion and any other info that helps get the projects moving like a dashboard to check the status of all projects in one place
Just going to check each project one by one is not idea and that too to see if the task is moved to done.

Trello is trying to do something like this, but only in table view for now: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/workspace-table-view/

This is what i miss in most project managers/planners; The possibility to get an overview of all lists/cards/tasks in a way that suits your needs. A customizable bird's eye view with ways to drill down to specifics.
