Quick add task on mobile

agreed, this is what Todoist does. when I open their mobile app, it defaults to a Today view, with a + button that lets me add new tasks to the Inbox right away. i think that approach makes sense and i really like it.
while Upbase does have an Inbox section under Spotlight, it takes a few clicks to get to the Add Task screen, and even then, the task defaults to No List instead of the Inbox. as a result, i find myself never using the Inbox, even though it exists.

yes to this! and I'm very curious how the Upbase team will sove this, as they always come up with very effective and well-thought executions :)

Here's a screenshot of my Android (Pixel 6 Pro) home screen showing how Google Tasks achieves this.
In the bottom left is the normal app launcher. When I hold my finger on it, a context menu pops up. You can see there's an option to add a new task. This can also be dragged to the home screen as its own launcher, which in the image is sitting next to the main app launcher. I can tap that to directly add a new task.
You could implement the same to create a new note, etc.

Sridhar Dhanapalan: Thank you for the suggestions. I agree that the ability to quickly add tasks on mobile is critical.
