Is it possible to add the ability to rearrange the global custom fields (rather than have them in the order created) and make them default (with that rearranged order) for all new lists created? Also, the ability to toggle on/off all the custom fields for all pre-existing lists would be EXTREMELY helpful. 
Better yet, if possible, it would be even more helpful to be able toggle on/off all custom fields for all list, or at least be able to toggle on/off specific custom fields for all lists from some kind of global setting. 
Summary: 
Rearrange global custom fields and make it the default order for new and/or existing lists
Make global custom fields default for new lists (could be optional too!)
Toggle all global custom fields on/off for all pre-existing lists from 'global' settings
Toggle a specific global custom field on/off for all pre-existing lists from 'global' settings
Toggle all global custom fields on/off for a specific list from the list custom field settings

Debajyoti Nath: We're currently working on adding new features for custom fields, including the ability to filter, sort, and group by single-select fields, as well as set default field values. We plan to roll out all of these updates next month.

Tony Pham - Any update with custom fiend of type date? I am planning to use it as defer till date so that I can create a filter and remove items I cant action right now. One big feature that is stopping me from moving over from Omnifocus
