Upbase has a large number of users, and it's difficult to please everyone.
The most important thing, however, is maintaining the solution.
Because what good is it if we add a lot of functionality and it stops working?
I believe that developing functionality must go hand in hand with maintaining it, and the latter is more important.

Jack S. stop your "marketing campaign". If you promise something, you deliver. If you would have stated NO API, NO Webhook from the beginning i would not even be talking to you. So get your act together and work on the most upvoted issues instead of feeding us BS like icons! I don't care about icons.

Why do you feel entitled to speak to them like that?
For better or worse, from the beginning they have made it clear that they are the ones prioritizing the features they work on and decide the order.
- Would I like users to have more influence in the prioritization of new features? Yes.
- Would I like them to hear us more and provide a proper timeline for upcoming features? Yes.
But even if I want those things, that doesn't give me the right to speak to them like that.

Aaron Blanco Tejedor if they lead us on for 3 years, yes i have every right to be pissed off. I relied on their word that turns out to be worthless. This whole upbase adventure is tasting like an old chewing gum. Get off you pedestal and mind your own business.

You can be as pissed off, frustrated, and angry as you want, but they don't deserve anyone talking about them and their project the way you do here.

They are just BS' ing their way around.
Not sure what you are using upbase for but as for now it's basically just good for your glorified weekly shopping list. I have invested cash and trust in this. If my business was behaving like this, i would have customers screaming down the phone. And that is exactly what i am doing.

Denis Dorigo I never understood people screaming down the phone, as far as I can tell, that behaviour hasn't really achieved anything.
I read the whole thread and I understand why the frustration, Webhooks and API are really important in these day and age, specially for a project management tool, and they have been promising the release of those features by the end of 2024, but then Tony Pham explained why they were being delayed even further.
From the beginning, their communication has been poor. My feeling from the communications I have gotten via email is that their team is very small and believes that constant communication with users would take too much time away from development.
I personally use Upbase for all my projects, and I manage a lot of different projects. I use it for my daily planning, my weekly planning, and to keep all my projects organized and on point. I really love Upbase. In recent months they have released many new features and improvements that make it even better and more suited to my workflow. The Spotlight feature is fantastic. The revamp of their docs was really necessary (though I still miss PDF export). Their automations are powerful, and the time tracking is very useful (even though I miss a few features). So for me is much more than a glorified weekly shopping list 😅
