The issue is that currently documents in Upbase are assigned to projects, and when projects are archived or deleted, the documentation disappears with the projects.

Currently, the knowledge base is the most important asset in any company.

And with the turnover of employees, which has been even 30-40% in recent years, the issue of keeping documentation for future employees arises.

The would be a huge bump in value for the upbase because over time the ALL DOCS section becomes the goto knowledgebase for the individual or the company. Docs (and files) are the one asset that typically lives on after a project closes out because it's used as reference material for future projects, planning and tracking, so there's value in having them in one easy-to-access spot. Sadly, most apps don't realize the value in a central repository for project docs

Some thoughts on this:

1) It has to have good search.

2) Tagging ability on docs would probably be useful here.

3) Ability to either selectively send/unsend docs to the ALL DOCS area, or be able to hide docs in the ALL DOCS area. This would allow the user to control the buildup of unwanted clutter in there.
